Hollywood is a funny business. It makes art for profit. And I’m still in it. Hollywood may have sold its soul to the devil a long time ago, but it keeps an energy that is hard to resist. Fast-paced and utterly absurd. Shout out to the lot of well-paid or barely-makin’-it survivors who work their asses off to keep the magic alive at all hours of the day!

Incredible Mayday at Occupy Oakland yesterday.  

+ A nice breakdown by zunguzungu on the ludicrousness of OPD’s latest “Armored Personnel Carrier” vehicle here. I saw this massive and unnecessary piece-a-shit crawl through downtown ready to instigate a riot. I hope someone pissed on it.

Yup, we live in a police state. The whole world can hear us.
